KANDIS HALL, event coordinator + forest therapy guide

Kandis Hall is the founder and owner of Native Wellness & Co. She credits her work experiences in healthcare as a Nursing Assistant, Therapeutic Programmer and Certified Exercise Physiologist for giving her the insight and inspiration to create all-inclusive, healthy getaways for our guests. She takes a holistic approach to wellness and believes in improving the health and well-being of other people through simple and accessible wellness practices.

Today, Kandis coordinates our retreats and forest therapy sessions, striving to ensure a relaxing and inviting experience for guests and program participants.

MEGAN FISCUS, Yoga instructor

Megan is a RYT 200 trained in the Yoga on High tradition with a focus in Hatha and restorative yoga, certified  Sekoia ™ teacher, certified Reiki Master, and meditation teacher. Her instruction encompasses all aspects of yoga, including breath practice (Pranayama) and incorporates essential oils, Reiki and a sense of humor.Megan's individualized instruction is targeted toward building flexibility and strength of the body and mind and providing you with tools to maintain it. 

"My goal is to give my students a safe place to explore and feel however they feel while gaining knowledge to help them lead a more peaceful and confident life."

Rob Wall, Executive Chef

Rob Wall is an accomplished chef representing a multitude of hospitality sectors including corporate catering, food service director, and his current roles as executive chef to Native Wellness & Co. and Indycar Racing Team Hospitality.

Rob is self -trained in the culinary world; with numerous professional classes including culinary training at Columbus State, Martha Stewart ‘ Catering as a Professional”, William Sonoma, and Dorothy Lane Market. Rob has a passion for cuisine and excels in creating seasonal and locally inspired menus to his clients and friends and family. 

Rob was born and raised in Upper Arlington and currently resides in Dublin with his wife, Carol and his dog; Curry. He often says his love and passion for cooking came about “watching the joy and love that my mother put into her cooking for family and friends.”

Dakota Mays, Yoga Instructor

Dakota’s personal yoga journey started at the end of 2016. Coming from a life that was consumed by wrestling with back issues and unhealthy eating, he quickly realized the healing powers of a steady yoga practice.

Although he started with a purely physical practice, he was quickly captivated by the mental stillness and overwhelming will-power that came from his practice. Not to mention, his posture improved drastically and his back pain almost disappeared!!

By 2018, he realized that he wanted to share this healing practice with others. Dakota booked a flight to Bali and received his vinyasa (flow) yoga teacher training in Canggu, Bali. As his practice deepened during teacher training, he noticed a subtle shift in his self-confidence and will-power. He has turned these characteristics into his main teachings during classes.

With the goal of instilling strength and mental stillness in his students, he primarily teaches vinyasa power flow with a focus on embodiment and confidence.

“Finding stillness in chaos” is how he usually phrases it..

Lisa Panos is a Certified Life Coach and Author who helps people stop struggling and start thriving in their personal and professional relationships.

Trained by Dr. Martha Beck (aka, Oprah's Life Coach), Lisa helps her clients create new, healthy relationships, mend those that are broken, or say goodbye to ones that no longer serve them. She combines highly effective coaching tactics with an explosive arsenal of personal experience that swiftly moves people out of dysfunction and into a place of deep inner strength.

MaryBeth Skoch, integrative health Coach

MaryBeth invites clients to embrace their true path to wellness with compassionate support and guidance. She enjoys working with individuals utilizing an integrative bio-psychosocial approach to health and wellbeing. In conjunction with her graduate training in psychology, MaryBeth also specializes in Biofeedback and has completed her professional certification hours.

MaryBeth assists clients in expanding their awareness of their mind-body connection to create positive behavioral changes, which empowers them to embrace and sustain improved health and lifestyle choices. Using client-centered care and mindfulness skills, she implements evidenced-based practices promoting health and wellness through one-on-one counseling and groups. Clients learn how to activate the body’s natural relaxation response, which allows them to better regulate emotions, adapt how they respond to stress, and opens them to more fully participate and enjoy their lives.

Jessica VanCleave, Dietitian

Jessica completed her Bachelor’s degree in dietetics from Lipscomb University and a master’s degree in public health from Lenoir-Rhyne University. She has training in adult, childhood and adolescent weight management and has served in leadership roles in media and marketing with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Over the past 5 years, Jessica has worked in many areas of dietetics including clinical, community health, outpatient and corporate wellness.

“I am passionate about helping people achieve their personal nutrition goals. I believe that food is meant to nourish and fuel our bodies but it is also meant to be enjoyed! I like to take a non-diet approach with my clients and focus on making small, achievable goals for lifelong success.”

A coach and workshop facilitator, Darci prides herself in inspiring others to live their dream, live their truth and, ultimately, live their best life. 
 

She delivers practical material in an approachable and light-hearted manner and is guaranteed to make each participant feel at ease and learn in an atmosphere of fun and laughter.
 

Hudson Institute trained and “Design Your Life” coach certified, Darci will meet you where you are, and offer you insights, encouragement and tools such as Design Thinking, to support you on your journey to a well-lived, joyful life.   

In addition to one-on-one coaching and group wellness workshops, Darci is also ‘Design Sprint’ Masterclass Pro certified and offers corporate strategy, team building and goal-setting sessions. One-on-one coaching is offered with any corporate session booking.
